DESCRIPTION: EPW - "Fabriqué pour Vacheron & Constantin, Genève" marked case, minute repeater, 49mm, gunmetal OF original case with gold repeat slide on band, signed gunmetal cuvette, very unusual white enamel dial with runic style "Thomas Felder" marking in place of primary hour numerals and with 13 to 24 hour indications around center, skeleton hands, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, strike train jeweled to hammers, likely 24-30J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#110673 to cuvette. An unusual and very visually attractive minute repeater, the "Fabriqué pour Vacheron & Constantin" signature indicates that this watch was not made in-house by Vacheron & Constantin but was rather supplied by another manufacture to be retailed by Vacheron & Constantin.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, small "M" scribed to repeat bridge surface, few scattered micro-fine scratches, some mild toning of plate surfaces, some small oxide specks to larger winding wheel; dial flawless aside from full loss of luminous material to numerals; excellent hands with full loss of luminous material; case shows very little wear, some small scratches to upper portion of bezel, few fine scratches and small nicks elsewhere, no dents, some patches of oxide at right perimeter of rear, excellent engraving detail, case rear closing with narrow sliver of gap to band at left side; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
